The Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting offers technical training in accounting and is ideal for anyone wishing to pursue or progress their career in accountancy or finance.

The purpose of the Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting is to enhance the skills developed from the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, enabling students to maximise opportunities in their current or new employment.

By studying for this qualification, students will acquire professional accountancy and finance skills that will be useful throughout their careers, including:.

1. Drafting financial statements for limited companies.

2. Having the knowledge and skills to use complex management accounting techniques.

3. The ability to analyse accounting systems and their associated controls.

4. Having knowledge and skills in specialist accountancy and finance subjects.

The Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting qualification will suit those who;.

1. Have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and who would like to continue to build their accountancy skills.

2. Are already working in finance and would like formal recognition of their skills.

3. Would like to go on to become an AAT full member and/or study for chartered accountant status.

4. Would like to start their own business through the AAT licences members scheme.

Entry requirements

To study this course learners will need to have achieved at least a Merit (80%+) overall for Level 3 unit assessments.

Learners will also need at least GCSEs 9-4 (A*-C) in English and maths, or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths where GCSEs were not achieved.

Learners also need to carry out two short tests at course interview stage to demonstrate their skills and ability to study at AAT Level 4.

You must be 18+ to study on our AAT courses.

Costs
