Modern-day workflows rely on various digital technologies to make business operations run smoothly – it’s essential that you understand how to use technology effectively and efficiently.
This course introduces you to skills and concepts which can be found in companies across the world, and arms you with the knowledge required to progress into further education or a career.
The adults programme is dedicated to getting people ready for a specific role in digital and technical support services. It includes two modules:
IT technical support, networking
The 20-week course will run on Thursdays from 4pm-7.15pm, on-site at Lakes College. There will be an additional two hours of online work once a week to be completed.
Entry requirements
To study this course you must demonstrate an interest in the subject area. You will also be subject to a short pre-assessment once you have registered and interviewed for the course.
Costs
Free to all 16-18 year olds. Funding may be available for 19-23 year olds. Also free to learners who are in receipt of JSA (Job Seekers Allowance) ESA (Employment Support Allowance, work related activity) or Universal Credit (mandated). Where fees are payable you can set up a payment plan that best suits your needs. Actual Cost is: £2583.00. All costs are subject to slight changes.

Adults: The aim of this course is to get you prepared for a specific job in digital / technical support services. Further studies are available - we offer HNC and HND Digital Technologies courses.
