The Governing Body
Working in partnership with a wide range of organisations, some of whom are represented on the Governing Body, the diverse skills mix round the table includes teaching and learning expertise, estates management know-how, employers, financial experts and community representatives, united in their aim to bring the very best of opportunities locally.
It is also their job to set the strategic direction of the College, taking account of a wide variety of views, to make sure that the offer meets the needs of students, employers and local communities and contributes to their individual success. They operate within a statutory framework, which is set out in the Instrument and Articles of Government and Standing Orders below, and are charity trustees.

Through its partnership working and sound financial management, the College is able to offer some very advanced facilities and the Governing Body will continue to ensure that resources are used effectively and offer value for money.
Governors also offer support and challenge to the Principal in his day-to-day management of the College, from which they are one step removed.
If you are passionate about education, feel you have the skills to contribute and would like further information about this rewarding role, please contact the Clerk to Governors, Jane Murray on 01946 839300.
